DIY Pinecone Bird

Do you want to learn more about the common birds we see in our backyard here in Chestnuthill Township, and how these birds survive our cold winters?

Come out to the Chestnuthill Township Park Building to learn about common back yard birds, what adaptations they make, and what types of food these birds rely on in winter. Participants will sit through a brief presentation and will then be guided though the process of making a DIY pinecone bird feeder that you will then be able to take home and display in your yard!

This program is Free and open to all ages; however, advanced registration is required as seating will be limited. When registering, you will pick one of the two sessions (either 5:30pm to 6:30pm or 7:00pm to 8:00pm) to attend.
