2nd Bi-Annual "Vote 48"

"Vote 48" is BACK for it's 2nd year & I am still hoping it will become a MAJOR part of Brockton Elections for years to come & and other elections also across the Nation...

48 Hours before Election Day MOST of us who vote, KNOW who we are voting for on Tuesday, but for every election we have those who are the "undecided" or "on the fence"... They don't know who they are voting for, and Brockton has had its share of certain elections that have been decided by a very small number of votes.

2023 | Ana Oliver vs Matt Stanton | 3 Votes

In 2023 both Ana & Matt spoke at the 1st "Vote 48" and some could say that 3 vote swing could have come from those who watched the event that night.

At "Vote 48" NO QUESTIONS will be asked of those running because residents have had two months to ask their questions & be informed. "Vote 48" is for the CANDIDATE to put together their BEST 7 or 10 Minutes (WILL BE TIMED NO GOING OVER) as to why someone who is undecided should vote for them.

Bring your Supporters & Sign Holders because there will be time for applause so they can respectfully show their support & this area of Crescent St is also a HIGH VISIBILITY AREA to get your team out there with signs before 4PM. And just because you may be running unopposed, that isn't a reason not to come... YOU should be coming & using those minutes to tell people what your plans are for this upcoming year for the seat you hold & the constituents you will be representing. Remember... A no-show by a voter could be held against you in the future if challenged.

"Vote 48" could be an event that a lot of people in Brockton look forward to every election & make a difference by hopefully getting more than 8% out to the polls on Tuesday.
