Rhododendron Uproot-a-thon! Help Clear Invasive Rhododendron. Join the Ecological Battle!

You're warmly invited to join the Rubha Phoil community in Armadale— along with friends, neighbours, and visitors — for a shared day of caring for the land.

Together, we'll focus on removing invasive Rhododendron, a non-native species that puts pressure on local ecosystems, making it harder for native plants, animals, and fungi to thrive.

This is a hands-on way to support the health and resilience of the land and all who depend on it.

For lunch, we'll share a nourishing pot of warm soup and fresh bread. Feel free to bring your own food to share.

It's an opportunity to get a tour of Rubha Phoil, make new friends, learn about permaculture living and get some questions answered.

If you have loppers, secateurs, working gloves or your own saw, please bring them along.

Please leave your dog at home, sorry, we have otters on our Rock.
