What if the most interesting conversations are the ones without conclusions? Socrates Café is an open philosophical dialogue where questions matter more than answers. It is a conversation without pressure, hierarchy or right solutions. You do not need knowledge, charisma or preparation – only curiosity and respect for different perspectives.
This is not a lecture, not a workshop and not a debate. It is a shared experience of thinking together. People from different backgrounds and experiences meet to explore one meaningful question through calm, attentive dialogue. Instead of defending opinions, we examine ideas, assumptions and meanings. Often, we leave with more questions than we came with – and that is exactly the goal.

How it works:
At the beginning of the meeting, participants can propose questions they want to explore. These questions usually take the form of open philosophical or life-related inquiries. The group then chooses one question together and stays with it for the entire session.
Through a couple of ground rules, a facilitator supports the process, keeps the conversation accessible and ensures that everyone has space to speak - if they wish to. The goal is not consensus but clarity and deeper understanding.
Come as you are. Think together. Leave with new perspectives.
