Jeho kytarová hra čerpá z různých hudebních stylů včetně appalačského folklóru, bluegrassu, blues, flamenca a klasické kytary, stejně jako z tvorby ikonoklastů folkloru Johna Faheyho a Robbieho Bashe, osobností 20. století avantgardy jako Albert Ayler, Derek Bailey a Henry Flynt, a hudebních tradic Indie, Íránu a arabského světa. Sebastian Bischoff z Zurichu je samouk hrající na fingerstyle kytaru, jehož jedinečný styl hry je na jeho novém albu umocněn světem producenta Michaela Pottera. Předchozí vydání u labelů Cardinal Fuzz, Stoned to Death a Dadaist obsahují jeho instrumentální kytarové skladby, které jsou někdy doplněny syntezátory nebo jeho no-input mixážním pultem pro vytvoření jiných, světských ambientních zvuků a šumu. Bischoffovy skladby zachycují rezonanci použitých nástrojů a důležitě také prostředí, ve kterém nahrává, ať už je to kuchyně, opuštěný balkon nebo v případě tohoto alba chýše.

je potulný, těkavý a vytrvalý hudební projekt, který skrze hudbu zkoumá spojení mezi
zvukem a krajinou a oslavuje vztahy k určitým místům v proměnách a průběhu času. Kořeny tvůrčí
inspirace sahají k hudební tradici Apalačského pohoří, ať už k horskému písničkářství nebo
jižanským kostelním chvalozpěvům. Proměnlivý projekt putuje světem už od roku 2009 a jeho
zvuková paleta je plná experimentování i zkoumání měřítek, vzorců a hypnotické repetice. Koncerty
Timber Rattle jsou pak jakousi časoprostorovou kontemplací, zvukovou oslavou setkání a propojení
země a tvorů, jazyka, magie, života a smrti.
Zvuk kapely, v instrumentálním složení kytary,
indického harmonia, bubnu a tajemných vokálů zpívaných v harmoniích, se projevuje v jakési
„psyche-pastorální“ hudbě prostorově rozlehlé i intimně zahleděné dovnitř, jež se snaží vytvořit
oslavné a reflexivní prostředí, které sdílí hranice s přírodou a tichem.

is a Tennessee-based guitarist, singer, multi-instrumental composer, and visual artist with deep roots in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee and Kentucky. Zurich's Sebastian Bischoff is Son of Buzzi, a self taught finger style guitar player whose unique manner of playing is compounded on his new record by the world of producer Michael Potter. Previous outings on Cardinal Fuzz, Stoned to Death and Dadaist are comprised of his instrumental guitar pieces sometimes coupled with synthesizers or his no-input mixer to create other worldy ambience and noise. Bischoff's compositions capture the resonance of the instruments used and importantly, that of the environment he records in, be it a kitchen, an abandoned balcony or in the case of this record, a hut.

is a roving, revolving and ongoing music project that continues to explore the connections between primordial sound, landscape, and the musics that have derived
from our relationships to space and place throughout time. This contemplation manifests in a kind of "pyche-pastoral", a music both spatially vast and intimately inward-looking,
which seeks to create a celebratory and reflective environment that shares it's borders with nature and silence.
While never straying too far from the mountain-hymns that are at its roots, the songwriting - which simultaneously embodies and considers its own history and geography - is yet
suffused with a vocabulary of drone and sound-experimentation. An intuitive exploration of palette, pattern, and scale is the softly shifting foundation for arcane texts and vocals,
which inhere as sound and instrument in the sonic celebration of the meeting and interfolding of land and creatures, language, magic, life and death.
The latest incarnation of TIMBER RATTLE is an all-acoustic trio, an intimate and unamplified version of the project.
