4th Call of the Woods: Outlook

Welcome to Call of the Woods! We organise weekly walks for exchange students, foreign students and expats.

For our fourth walk, we will climb the highest view tower (and highest hill) around Brno: Babi lom. The view from the top is awesome, so this is a trip not to miss! The length of the walk is 16.5 km.

We will have two meeting points. The first one is at the tram stop Hlavni Nadrazi (under the clock on the tram platform) at 10:00. At 10:06 we will take tram 1 and get off at 10:20 at Semilasso, which is the second meeting point. The people who go straight to Semilasso should be there around 10:20. At 10:25 we will take bus 70 to Oresin.

We will be stopping at a pub halfway. It is still good to bring enough food yourself. Start and finish of the walk are in zone 101, so no extra tickets are required. We should be back in the center between 5 and 6pm. Our route: https://en.mapy.cz/s/pekunujube

Note: the top of Babi lom is very rocky, so it is best to wear hiking shoes with some profile.
