We’re delighted to launch our Maritime Lecture Series — a chance to explore the extraordinary stories, ships, and characters that shaped our seafaring world, all in the cosy surroundings of our First Class Coffee Lounge.
Our very first talk, “The Lusitania Affair”, will be delivered by local historian Alasdair Anderson on Tuesday 3rd February at 2pm.
It’s a gripping journey into one of the most dramatic and controversial events of the early 20th century, told with insight, humanity, and a real passion for maritime history.
There’s no charge — simply come along, relax with a cup of something nice, and enjoy an afternoon of fascinating storytelling surrounded by the Brixham Steam Packet Company’s unique ocean-liner collection.
We’re really excited about this new chapter, and we hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a wonderful afternoon.
