🗽 Yarn/Wire nasce nel 2005 da quattro musicistə della Stony Brook University di New York. L’ensemble sviluppa il proprio repertorio collaborando con compositori/ici e sound artist. A TRANSART presenta opere di tre compositori statunitensi, tra cui Feedback Studies di Sarah Davachi, Little Jimmy di Andrew McIntosh e Tactile Values di Anthony Cheung: tre visioni sonore che raccontano la ricchezza della musica contemporanea.

🗽Yarn/Wire was founded in 2005 by four musicians from Stony Brook University in New York. The ensemble develops its repertoire through collaborations with composers and sound artists. At TRANSART they present works by three US-based composers: Feedback Studies by Sarah Davachi, Little Jimmy by Andrew McIntosh, and Tactile Values by Anthony Cheung—three sonic visions reflecting the richness of contemporary music.
