Theatre Bristol presents "The Odd Couple," coming to the Cameo Theatre weekends October 3 - 12, 2025. Tickets are on sale now at TheatreBristol.org/tickets for this hilarious comedy presented live on stage with regional cast.
Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple" opens on a friendly card game in the untidy apartment of divorced sportswriter Oscar Madison, played by Richard Albright. Thrown out by his wife, newswriter Felix Ungar, played by Mark Stewart, moves in with Oscar. As polar opposites room together, Felix’s corrections and criticisms begin to destroy Oscar’s carefree life and weekly poker game with friends Murray played by Randy Callahan, Speed played by Scott Hill, Vinnie played by Johnny Archer, and Roy played by Samuel Fleenor. Oscar works to help Felix move on past his heartbreak by inviting Pigeon sisters, Cecily played by Kaylie Crain and Gwendolyn played by Camille Gray, into their lives, but Felix is not ready. The Tony-award winning play’s unconventional relationship is perfect for laughs, “Marriages may come and go, but the game must go on.”
Veteran director Gary Aday directs this classic comedy and is supported by stage manager Sam King, costume designer Adriel Slaughter, set designer Camille Gray, master carpenter Luke Gray, lighting designer Albert Tester, props artisans Sami Fleenor and Scott Hill, and producer Samantha Gray.
Performances are weekends October 3-12, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $16 for adults (card-$18.88; cash-$17.12) and $12 for seniors and students (card-$14.38; cash-$12.84).
