Sacred Song & Prayer Fundraiser for Palestine

This is the fourth in a series of fundraisers we have held in support of those suffering in Palestine.

We are a group of friends in the community who meet regularly to sing and commune together. There will be songs led by Kat Drake and Poppy Villieriez and a short grief ritual by Pablo Villieriez.

Doors will open at 7 pm and we will aim to start by 7.30 finishing by 10 pm.

All are welcome :-)

We will have tea and cake for sale so please bring cash if you can.
All proceeds will go to the Amos trust who partners with local grass roots Palestinian organisations and works with peace activists campaigning for Palestinian equal rights and an end to Israeli apartheid policies.

Their Palestinian partners run community programmes to promote creative, non-violent resistance to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza — and work to relieve the stress and despair that the occupation causes within these communities.

They seek to share their stories, stand with them in their suffering and support the work they do — raising awareness of the horrors of home demolitions, the building of the Separation Wall, restrictions on freedom of movement and the daily impact of life under occupation.
