BRISTOL, 29th–30th November 2025
Two days of Lindy Hop with the one and only RYAN FRANCOIS!
Saturday – INTERMEDIATE DANCERS AND ABOVE
Sunday – ADVANCED DANCERS
Each workshop includes four hours of expert teaching plus practice time, for £65pp per day (£55 students)
Ryan's partner for the Saturday workshop will be Helen Parham.
On Sunday, he will be partnered by Jackie Boulter.
We will be using an APPLICATION FORM for booking, as we are setting the Advanced level relatively high. The form will allow us to learn about your Lindy Hop journey – especially for those of you who haven't attended our workshops before and who we might not know personally – so that we can offer you the workshop/s from which you will gain the most benefit and enjoyment.
Booking opens soon!
INTERMEDIATE DANCERS:
You've been taking regular classes for over a year and enjoy social dancing with different partners at a range of tempos. You can mix all the basic triple-step and kick-step patterns, including Swing outs and Lindy turns, and are looking to improve your technique and add to your repertoire of moves and variations.
ADVANCED DANCERS:
You've likely been dancing for six years or more and regularly attend higher-level workshops to hone your skills. You have strong fundamentals and are able to pick up more complex moves and variations (with a bit of practice!).
For this level of workshop with Ryan Francois, we ask that you already have a good understanding of his methodology when it comes to steps, connection and lead/follow, so you will need to have learned from him or from accomplished teachers around the world who espouse his methods.
Classes take place in the main hall at Ashton Park School, a large air-conditioned space. The school has a car park and is served by buses from the city centre.
We look forward to seeing you 🙂
