Intermediate Bag Making: Slouch Bag with Lock Clasp

Sew you have learnt bag making in the past and need to up your game!? … then this bag making workshop is perfect for you!

We will make a lovely large slouch bag with the boxed corners method, add a pocket, label, lining , a fabric shoulder strap with “D” rings and then a lovely shiny metal lock close clasp to keep you bag closed! We will also use iron on interfacing to give our bag some shape!

I made my bag from corduroy (not stretchy!) … I think for this workshop why don’t you use your own fabric - you will need 1m (nothing stretchy please - a thick cotton fabric, canvas, cotton twill, denim, or corduroy (thick) will all work really well! I will supply the lining, that way you get your bag in exactly the fabric you would like!
