Have Your Say on Women's Safety: BWV monthly community & members meeting

The first of our monthly community & members meetings, where we work together to hear and tackle the issues important to you.

This is the first of Bristol Women's Voice's themed monthly in-person community and members' meetings where we will work together to listen to and tackle issues important to you: safety, health and poverty.
In this first meeting, we will focus on women's safety in public, particularly on public transport. We will work together to develop a meaningful response to a new inquiry into licensing and standards in the taxis and private-hire vehicles sectors . This asks about changes required to support taxi passenger safety and the regulation of it.
You can also find out more about what Bristol Women's Voice is doing to tackle harassment against women in public and on public transport, and lend your voice and experience to these efforts.
