With five green bug hats peeking above the stage, Bug Teeth conjure a world just beyond reach. Harsh guitars and skittering drum and bass rhythms cut through hazy dreamscapes, while lyrics probe the intimate and infinite.
What began as PJ Johnson’s lo-fi bedroom project has grown into a full band with a raw, celestial sound. Their live shows are fragile yet ferocious, a hypnotic push and pull between distortion and stillness.
Blending dream pop, electronic ambience and breakbeat, Bug Teeth craft music that feels both weightless and deeply grounded. Their latest single Landscaping pushes their sound further, balancing beauty with abrasive grief.
