After a full and highly requested session last April, this class is returning to the barn! Join us in Bristol, CT for a beginner-friendly introduction to sourdough fermentation and starter care.
This is not a bread-baking class.
This workshop focuses on the foundation of sourdough — the starter.
You’ll learn:
• What a sourdough starter actually is
• How natural fermentation works
• How to properly feed and maintain your starter
• Why starters fail — and how to prevent common mistakes
• How to confidently begin baking at home
Led by Terry Walters, Culinary & Wellness Educator, this class offers a welcoming space to ask questions, listen, learn, and finally understand the process.
