This Father’s Day, we’re getting fired up for a BBQ Platter of smoky flavours, cold drinks, and good times by the beach.
We’re celebrating all the legends out there with a one-day-only BBQ experience at Grand Bar, featuring a mouth-watering collaboration between our Executive Chef Jamie Steele and award-winning pitmaster Rik Carr from Rik’s Grill — one of the biggest names in Australia’s American BBQ scene.
Together, they’ll be firing up a live outdoor BBQ and serving up hearty BBQ Lunch Platters, designed to be shared between two. Each platter includes smoked brisket, tomahawk steak, pork belly burnt ends, smoked wings, mac and cheese nuggets, crunchy slaw, and house-made corn bread — all served fresh off the grill.
Each platter is designed to be shared between two people and includes a house tap beer or wine on arrival per guest. Tickets are priced at $138 per platter, with the option to add additional guests for $69 per person.
To top it all off, each booking includes a house tap beer or wine on arrival, plus live music from a local acoustic duo to set the perfect laid-back Sunday atmosphere.
And for the dads with a sweet tooth — we’re serving up a very limited dessert: a slice of award-winning cheesecake, made from a recipe by Aussie BBQ legends The Smoking Joint. This standout dessert took out Best Dessert at the Jack Daniel’s Invitational in Tennessee — the biggest smoking competition in the world. It’s one of the few Australian entries to ever win gold at the event, and now it’s making a special guest appearance at Grand Bar, just for Father’s Day.
