About the show:
🌿Families… can’t live with them, can’t live without them.
Fran and Bob have spent decades raising four kids. They’ve survived tantrums, teenage years and more ‘life advice’ than anyone asked for. But just when they think they’ve got parenting all wrapped up, the kids prove that growing up doesn’t always mean letting go.
Things I Know To Be True is a funny, moving and beautifully honest look at family life - the love, the chaos and the moments that catch you off guard. One minute you’ll be laughing at something painfully familiar, the next you might just find a lump in your throat.
After a hugely successful play reading last year, this story resonated so deeply with our team that we knew we had to bring it to the stage. Under the direction of Cal Waddell, our cast of ‘real people with palpable personalities’ will invite you into a home full of laughter, heartbreak and hope.
