Join us for another Himalayan balsam bash at Brighouse Beach! 💪🌱
This session will be hosted by our brilliant group secretary, Fiona, who’ll guide you through how to identify, pull, and crush the balsam to stop it from spreading.
Last week we cleared around 40–50m²—let’s see what we can do this time! Every plant removed helps restore balance to our riverside habitats and gives native wildlife a better chance to thrive.
💚 No experience needed
🌱 Gloves provided (or bring your own)
👖 Wear long pants and suitable footwear
🧃 Bring water (and bug spray if needed)
It’s a rewarding way to spend your Sunday morning and a great chance to meet like-minded people, reconnect with nature, and make a real impact.
