Jimmy Regal and The Royals deliver a sound that travels from North Mississippi to the vibrant streets of New Orleans, through the rich musical heritage of Mali to the gritty vibes of Canvey Island.
Signed to Lunaria Records this band is recognised as one of the UK’s most forward-looking roots/blues acts and sounds like no other on the scene.

A prolific songwriter and session player, guitarist Corin Williams’ stands apart due to his unique technique, and Drummer Sammy Samuels cut his teeth touring Australia, Canada and the US and has developed a highly original rhythmic style to underpin the sound.
Awarded four stars by Mojo and achieved #1on the UK IBBA Blues Broadcasters Association charts, they were nominated for album of the year and band of the year by the UK Blues Federation.
The band has featured on the Cerys Matthews Blues Show on BBC Radio 2 and as artist of the week on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends.
