Bridport Youth and Community Centre, in collaboration with Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network is proud to present The Forget Me Not Fiesta — a vibrant, inclusive event designed to raise awareness and support for those living with dementia, their carers, and the wider West Dorset community.
The fiesta is an open invitation to come together, learn, connect, and celebrate the strength of our local community. This special day will include:
• A wide range of stalls and service providers offering advice and support for those with or without dementia — from healthy lifestyle tips to social opportunities and wellbeing initiatives.
• The Virtual Dementia Experience Bus – a powerful immersive tool giving participants a unique insight into the day-to-day reality of living with dementia.
• Jurassic Coast PCN’s expert team will be available to talk about social prescribing, medication reviews, and how to age well in your community.
• Live performances from fantastic local choirs, culminating in a joyful “Big Sing for Dementia” — a musical moment of unity and support to fundraise for an ongoing Singing for the Brain Group.
• Exercise demonstrations open to all ages and abilities – come and join in, move your body, and feel the benefit.
• A walk-in Blood Pressure Clinic with healthcare professionals from the Jurassic Coast PCN, offering friendly and accessible health checks.
Whether you’re living with dementia, supporting someone who is, or simply curious to know more, The Forget Me Not Fiesta welcomes you. Let’s build a more informed, connected, and compassionate community — together.
