Get ready for a night to remember! On Friday 23rd August, we’re bringing a full rock ’n’ roll big band to the wonderful Bridport Arts Centre — with 8 saxophones, drums, bass, guitar, piano, percussion, powerhouse guest vocalists, and more.
This show is especially close to my heart as it features both of my children:
Tom Waters (www.tomwaters.co.uk) – a world-class saxophonist who gave up school at 13 to tour the globe with me (52 countries before he turned 16!) and went on to the Purcell School and the Royal Academy of Music. He’s now recognised as one of the great sax players of his generation.
Molly Mae Waters – my daughter, who was the youngest ever vocalist to perform on the main stage at Ronnie Scott’s, and who has just graduated from the Guildhall School of Music. She’ll be fronting her sensational vocal group The Brillo’s, who never fail to bring the house down.
We’ll be joined by musicians from Madness and Jools Holland’s band, creating a party atmosphere like no other. Expect wild solos, powerhouse vocals, and a rock ’n’ roll dancefloor vibe — bring your dancing shoes!
This concert is also our warm-up for the legendary Twinwood Festival, where we’ll hit the main stage the following day. It’s going to be one of the biggest and most joyful nights of the summer.
