Search for signs of an ancient river that may have once spread along the geography of Kings Cliff as the Quantock Heritage Group seek to unearth the mysteries of this now muddy trackway. What makes a river hidden to time, and how can walking this route unlock the story of past landscapes? Can your footsteps recover a geography lost to time?
The walk will be approximately 5.2 miles starting at North Petherton Community Centre and will end at Fyne Court where there is a chance to get refreshments in the café before transport is provided back to the start location - transport is inclusive of the booking.
What to wear/bring:
Please check the weather forecast for the day and come equipped for all that an English winters day can bring. Warm clothing, a hat and sturdy footwear and rain coat/trousers are advised. Please also bring a packed lunch and plenty of water for the duration of the walk (1L recommended).
