The Bad Guys 2 is a 2025 American animated heist action comedy film loosely based on the children's book series The Bad Guys by Aaron Blabey and produced by DreamWorks Animation. This film is a sequel to The Bad Guys (2022). The film is directed by Pierre Perifel, co-directed by JP Sans, and written by Yoni Brenner and Etan Cohen. The film stars Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Awkwafina, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Zazie Beetz, Alex Borstein, Richard Ayoade, and Lilly Singh, reprising their roles from the first film. Actors joining the cast for this film are Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne, and Maria Bakalova.
Reformed criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula are trying very hard to be good. However, they soon find themselves hijacked into a high-stakes heist that's masterminded by a new team of delinquents they never saw coming -- the Bad Girls.
