Don’t Tell Daisy is an indie folk band born from the wide open spaces of Western Australia, with roots running deep in Popanyinning and Narrogin. The four-piece is powered by sisters Holly (guitar, vocals) and Lottie (keyboard, vocals), alongside longtime mates Harley (drums) and Kyle (bass, vocals). What started as a humble cover band soon evolved into a bold, original project, giving rise to the raw, harmony-rich sound that defines Don’t Tell Daisy.
With influences like The Waifs, Ocean Alley, and Angus and Julia Stone, their music blends warm folk textures with indie spirit. Their storytelling leans into themes of regional identity, love, loneliness, materialism, and hope — all wrapped in earthy melodies and honest lyrics. Holly and Lottie's unique vocal chemistry, paired with Harley’s extraordinary drumming and Kyle’s grounded rhythms, create a sound that feels both grounded and unforgettable.
Following the release of their 2024 singles Little Things and Subway, Don’t Tell Daisy continued to build momentum with their 2025 track City Lights. Their live performances have earned them recognition across WA, including playing alongside the Perth Symphony Orchestra at the Narrogin Hay Bales Concert, sharing stages with Alison Parade, Humble Armada, and San Cisco at the 2024 Cuby Groove Fest, and recently gracing the stage at the 2025 Nannup Music Festival. Their rising presence was cemented with the Emerging Artist Industry Recognition Award in 2025, but for Don’t Tell Daisy, this is just the beginning.
