The Reel Thing

If you love movies and love talking about them, then you’re invited to join Cumberland County Library’s new film discussion club, The Reel Thing, for an afternoon film followed by a thought-provoking discussion. The club will meet one Saturday every month, and club members take turns picking the films we’ll watch and discuss at upcoming meetings. Our next meeting is on Saturday, February 28 from 1-4 pm.

Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter (Josh Brolin) stumbles upon the aftermath of a drug deal gone wrong and over two million dollars in cash near the Rio Grande. Also stars Tommy Lee Jones and Xavier Bardem. Winner of 4 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor (Xavier Bardem).
