We shut off the lights, fire up the black lights, and transform the gym into a glow-in-the-dark climbing party like no other. With bumping music, neon holds, glowing tape lines, and high-energy vibes, it’s a night of sending, dancing, and straight-up celebration. Whether you’re here to crush problems or just light up the wall in your wildest gear, R.A.D. is where the climbing community comes alive. The Concept
- Reach After Dark is our annual black light climbing party — a one-night-only event where we turn down the lights, crank the music, and turn up the glow. It’s all about high-energy climbing, community, and fun in a completely transformed space.
The Climbing
- All climbing areas stay open, but the gym is decked out in black lights and neon tape.
- Certain boulders and routes are specifically set or marked for the event.
- Glow holds, tape paths, and painted volumes make every climb feel like a new challenge.
- No pressure to perform — climb for fun, flash for the crowd, or project with your crew.
Glow Up
- Show up early to get decked out in glow paint, LED bracelets, or neon face stickers.
- Wear white or neon to maximize your glow under the black light or your halloween costume!
- We provide the black lights, you bring the flair.
The Party
- A live DJ keeps the vibes high with music all night.
- Party lighting, visual effects, and crowd energy turn the gym into a mini rave.
