Join us in Dunraven Place, Bridgend on Saturday 13th September from 10.30am-2.30pm for a Medieval Celebration to mark 600 years of the iconic Old Stone Bridge.
There will be free family entertaining including:
- Candle making, pottery, embroidery & more
- Medieval Puppet theatre
- Armour & weapon display
- Mischievous jester
- Folk, Morris and sword dancing
- Traditional toys and crafts
Plus: local choirs, face painting, living history and craft displays - something for everyone!
The Old Stone Bridge has stood at the centre of Bridgend for six centuries, shaping the town’s story and connecting
generations.
This anniversary is not just about celebrating a bridge, but about uniting the local community and celebrating the people, heritage and spirit of Bridgend itself.
From longbows to jesters, from songs to storytelling, lets step back in time to celebrate this iconic landmark that has connected our community for 600 years!
