About the event

22nd Annual Labor Day Celebration

Join co-hosts Eastern Maine Labor Council, AFL-CIO and Food AND Medicine to celebrate Labor's holiday. The 22nd Annual Labor Day Celebration is always a fun time. We'll grill local burgers, red hot dogs and have corn on the cob from a local farm.

Help us keep event costs low - bring your favorite potluck side, salad or dessert to share.

Speakers will be announced from local unions with updates on their recent successes and challenges; EMLC and FAM will present some awards. This is the place to be on Labor Day to celebrate Maine's labor movement and union solidarity!
