The 4 week course will be Mondays at 7:00pm, each group course will be 1 hour with personalized progressive instruction followed by continued practice session. The total amount of $100 for the course can be prepaid via Venmo @Priscilla-Juur. Fee is non refundable. This is not a drop in class. This is a 4 week course designed for progressive learning.
Beginners to all levels of dancers welcomed! No partner needed! Teacher/student interactive instruction with personal attention.

ABOUT YOUR SPECIAL GUEST INSTRUCTOR:
Special Guest Instructor – Jay West
Jay stepped into the Latin dance world in 2010, instantly captivated by Salsa and later drawn deeply into Bachata. Only a few months into dancing, he was encouraged into partnership work — a leap that opened the door to a decade-plus of teaching and performing. Since then, Jay has spent 13 years teaching Salsa, 10 years teaching Bachata, performed two seasons with Island Touch, and shared his instruction at events and studios nationwide.
Yet for all his accomplishments, Jay’s true influence is found in the way he invests in community.
In recent years, he has become a central force in WNC’s growing social dance scene, consistently elevating the community by inviting top talent, organizing events, teaching classes, DJing, promoting, and supporting dancers at every level. His work behind the scenes is as meaningful as the classes he leads. Jay West is also instructing and official cohost of Asheville Winter Festival 2026.
Jay brings knowledge and heart to every project he touches, and our community is stronger because of it.
