Parenting Through Trauma & Beyond (A Free KMHS Community Education Event)

Join us for a discussion about intergenerational trauma and healing the parent-child relationship. Two members of the KMHS Child & Family team, Ashley Lucas and Neesha Roarke, will be presenting along with Mary Rose Dewald, clinical social worker and founder of Flying Bagel Counseling Services.

Key topics:

-The science behind intergenerational trauma and how it manifests in relationships between caregivers and young children

-How the practice of infant and early childhood mental health is trailblazing healing in early relationships

-Ways you can start fostering closer attachments with your young children right away

This event is free to attend and open to anyone in the community. No tickets or RSVP required in order to attend.

Doors open at 5:00 pm, presentation begins at 5:30 pm.
