Grab your flannel and let’s get crafty with a touch of cornstalk charm—it’s time to build your very own scarecrow from head to toe! You’re invited to our second Scarecrow Making Workshop, hosted at the beautiful Hidden View Farmstead in Bremen. Surrounded by pumpkins, mums, and the magic of fall on the farm, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind scarecrow that’s perfect for your porch, garden, or to display along the Trail of Scarecrows.
🎡 About the Trail of Scarecrows
This year’s theme is Fair Fun – A Celebration of the 175th Fairfield County Fair! From blue ribbons to midway rides, scarecrows will be popping up across the county to honor everything we love about fair season.
🌽 Workshop Details
For just $19 + service fees, you’ll get everything you need to build your own life-size scarecrow, including framing materials, stuffing, and clothing to dress it up. Bring along your own accessories if you’d like—plastic shopping bags make great extra stuffing, and fun touches like hats, boots, or goofy glasses are highly encouraged.

Your workshop ticket also includes half-price admission ($4) to Hidden View’s Pumpkin Patch & Fun Center on the same day! Be sure to come early to explore the farm’s corn maze, wagon rides, petting zoo, play center, pumpkin launch, and more. The farm market will also be open, stocked with pumpkins, mums, and fresh local goodies.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Participants must be age 9 or older. Finished scarecrows can head home with you that evening.
