Over the River and Through the Woods

“Over the River and Through the Woods” is a heartfelt and hilarious comedy that explores the bonds of family, tradition, and change. Written by Joe DiPietro, this charming play follows Nick, a young, single Italian-American man whose announcement of a life-changing career move sends shockwaves through his devoted grandparents. With love, laughter, and plenty of pasta, they scheme to keep him close to home, no matter what it takes. Touching and laugh-out-loud funny, “Over the River and Through the Woods” offers a warm, relatable story about family ties, generational differences, and the bittersweet moments of growing up.

Performances run at The Avon Theatre on October 3rd, 4th, 10th & 11th @ 8pm, and October 5th & 12th @ 2pm.
