Pothamus in MEZZ

Pothamus is een Belgische sludge/post-metalband uit Mechelen die bekend staat om hun hypnotiserende mix van sludge, post-rock en wereldmuziekinvloeden. Met een diepe, atmosferische sound creëren ze een bijna rituele luisterervaring, waarin repetitieve ritmes, donkere klanklandschappen en spirituele thematiek centraal staan.

Pothamus bracht begin dit jaar het nieuwe album ‘Abur’ uit, een langverwachte opvolger van hun debuutalbum ‘Raya’. Met ‘Abur’ verdiept de band hun spirituele en muzikale zoektocht. Oosterse invloeden, filosofische thema’s en hypnotiserende composities maken van het album een pelgrimstocht door het universum en de menselijke ziel.
