Self Portrait in Stitch, with Julie Lloyd Owen

This workshop is to hand stitch a self portrait from a photograph traced onto calico and using basic embroidery hand stitches to create the image.
It is mostly achieved using blackwork techniques, but each participant can also work in any colours they wish.
Basic knowledge of running, backstitch, stem stitch and split stitch is all that is required, any other stitches can be taught during the day.
NB: some preparational materials required by participants - this information will be emailed to you when you book.

£30 pp, including all materials and tea and cake.
