A Drum & Bass Clinic led by two world-class musicians:
🎸 Mat Maxwell – Mat Maxwell is an electric bassist with roughly two decades of studio and touring experience. He is the current touring bassist for Luke Combs, and his career includes performances with prominent artists such as James Taylor, Ed Sheeran, Vince Gill, Wanda Jackson, and many others. Mat is also the author of Hired Musician: A Guide to Getting and Keeping Gigs, a comprehensive guide that offers valuable insights into the complexities of the modern music industry. Off stage, Mat indulges in his love for food, cigars, and sleep.
🥁 Jake Sommers – Jake relocated from his hometown in New York to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue playing drums. Jake started drumming in the honky tonk scene on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Shortly after, he met singer-songwriter/artist by the name of Luke Combs. Jake became Luke Combs’ touring drummer in 2014. Over the course of Jake’s time touring with Combs, Jake has made appearances on The Grammys, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning America, CMA Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Awards, and the IHeart Awards.
