Benefit For Becca

Save the Date: Saturday, November 29th, 11AM-4PM, Braymer High School.

Becca was recently diagnosed with a rare and chronic bone marrow cancer that disrupts the body’s ability to produce healthy blood cells called Myelofibrosis. She will have to undergo a serious chemotherapy treatment before a bone marrow transplant procedure is completed and is currently on a waiting list. Once a donor is found and the procedure is completed, she will have to stay in isolation for at least three weeks then complete a 100 day stay near the hospital to ensure that the bone marrow is not rejected by her body.

Becca will have doctor appointments every two to three weeks until a bone marrow donor is found. She is currently devastated by this news and is falling into a cycle of depression and hesitation on how she will be able to continue as a mother and wife to her family while completing the necessary treatment regimen. Another hard hit came to the family after she lost her job due to taking off of work by not feeling well. This fundraiser is to help with upcoming travel expenses, loss of income, and repairments to her main vehicle that is currently broken down.
