Refund Policy

Event Attendee Terms & Conditions

Organiser: Mandeep Kaur (Psychic Medium Healer) IK Aum Events

Website: uniquepsychic.com www.ikaum.events

These Terms apply to all ticket holders and attendees at any event (each an “Event”) organised, hosted or facilitated by the Organiser.

1. Overview & Acceptance

1.1 By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending an Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you are purchasing on behalf of another person, you confirm you have their authority to accept these Terms.

1.2 Additional event specific rules may apply (for example, venue rules, workshop eligibility criteria, or health & safety instructions). Where there is any conflict, the stricter requirement will apply to protect safety and compliance.

1.3 These Terms work alongside the terms of any third party ticketing platform used (for example, AllEvents) and any venue policies. If a platform’s terms conflict with these Terms, these Terms will apply between you and the Organiser.

2. Ticketing, Pricing & Payment

2.1 Ticket types, inclusions (e.g. meal options, workshops), and prices are shown on the Event listing. Early bird or promotional pricing may be time limited or capacity limited.

2.2 Bookings are confirmed only when full payment is received by the ticketing platform or the Organiser (as applicable). Until then, the Organiser may release the ticket back to general sale. Tickets may not be resold, transferred or offered for resale without the Organiser’s prior written consent. Any unauthorised resale or attempted resale may result in cancellation without refund.

2.3 Except where stated otherwise on the Event listing, tickets are for a specific date and time and are non transferable and non refundable (see Clause 4 for your statutory rights and Clause 5 for cancellations by the Organiser). If you can no longer attend, you may request a name change for your ticket up to 72 hours before the Event; approval is at the Organiser’s discretion and may carry a reasonable admin fee. Booking and administration fees (if any) are non-refundable in all circumstances.

2.4 If a booking error occurs (e.g. duplicate purchase), you must notify the Organiser within 48 hours of purchase. The Organiser may, at their discretion, correct the error or offer a remedy. The Organiser may cancel any booking where payment is not received in full by the required deadline.

3. Age Restrictions & Safeguarding

3.1 Event descriptions will state any age restrictions. Some Events are open to all ages; others are for 16+ only; certain high intensity workshops (e.g. fire walking, glass walking or arrow breaking) may be 18+ or subject to screening.

3.2 Where under 18s are permitted, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult ticket holder. The Organiser reserves the right to ask for proof of age and to refuse entry if the age policy is not met.

3.3 For activities involving children or vulnerable persons, the Organiser may require a parent/guardian consent form and/or exclude participation if appropriate safeguards are not in place.

4. Your Consumer Rights (distance purchases)

4.1 Tickets for Events on a specific date do not generally carry a 14 day cooling off right. However, you still have statutory rights where the Organiser materially changes, postpones or cancels the Event (see Clause 5).

4.2 Nothing in these Terms affects your rights that cannot be excluded by law.

5. Changes, Postponement & Cancellation by the Organiser

5.1 The Organiser may make reasonable changes to the Event (e.g. timetable, speaker/performer substitutions, room layout, workshop order) for operational or safety reasons. A change of running order or a comparable substitute does not normally entitle you to a refund. Changes to the advertised line-up, speakers or facilitators will not entitle you to a refund provided the overall nature of the Event is maintained.

5.2 If the Event is postponed or cancelled, the Organiser will notify ticket holders as soon as reasonably possible and will offer either (a) tickets for the rescheduled date, or (b) a refund of the face value paid for the ticket (and any compulsory fees), processed within a reasonable time. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund.

5.3 Where only part of an Event is cancelled, the Organiser may offer a pro rata refund or credit reflecting the materiality of the change.

5.4 The Organiser is not responsible for any indirect costs you incur (e.g. travel, accommodation) unless required by law. Refunds or credits in the event of Force Majeure are at the Organiser’s discretion, and the Organiser accepts no liability for indirect or consequential costs (including travel, accommodation or subsistence).

6. Cancellations & Non Attendance by You

6.1 If you change your mind or can’t attend, tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable unless the Event is cancelled or rescheduled (see Clause 5). You may request a name transfer within the time limits in Clause 2.3.

6.2 Failure to attend (“no show”), arriving late, or leaving early does not entitle you to a refund or credit. Removal from the Event for breach of these Terms or venue rules will not entitle you to any refund.

7. Admission & Venue Rules

7.1 Doors open and last entry times will be shown on the Event listing. Please arrive in good time. Late entry may be restricted until a suitable break or may not be possible for certain activities (e.g. guided meditation, stage demonstrations).

7.2 The Organiser and venue may conduct bag checks and refuse prohibited items (e.g. illegal substances, offensive weapons, fireworks). Alcohol or intoxication may lead to refusal of entry or removal without refund.

7.3 Re entry is at the venue’s discretion. Animals are not permitted except for trained assistance dogs (please notify the Organiser in advance if possible).

7.4 You must follow all instructions from staff and any safety briefings provided. Disruptive, discriminatory or unsafe behaviour may result in removal without refund.

8. Workshops & Higher Risk Activities

8.1 Certain workshops (for example, fire walking, glass walking, arrow breaking) are inherently higher risk and may require pre registration, health screening, specific attire, and signing a risk acknowledgement form on the day. You must follow the facilitator’s instructions at all times.

8.2 Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. The facilitator may refuse participation if, in their reasonable opinion, it would be unsafe for you (e.g. due to footwear, intoxication, pregnancy, or disclosed medical conditions). Refusal on safety grounds does not entitle you to a refund of the Event ticket. The facilitator’s decision on eligibility or safe participation is final, and refunds will not be provided if you are excluded on safety grounds.

9. Health, Wellbeing & Personal Responsibility

9.1 All content provided is intended for personal insight, entertainment and wellbeing. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed, and no particular communication, perception or result is promised.

9.2 Psychic and mediumship elements are for personal insight and spiritual guidance; outcomes cannot be guaranteed and specific communications or results may not occur.

9.3 If you have any condition that may be affected by participation (e.g. mobility limitations, cardiovascular issues, epilepsy, mental health conditions), please assess suitability in advance and speak to your healthcare provider where appropriate.

10. Food, Allergens & Dietary Needs (where provided)

10.1 Where catering is included, the Event listing will specify what is provided. Please inform the Organiser of any dietary requirements at the time of booking (or by the deadline stated). The Organiser will pass this information to the caterer/venue but cannot guarantee an allergen free environment.

10.2 You are responsible for checking allergen information on the day. If you are unsure, please speak to staff before consuming any food or drink.

11. Photography, Filming & Media

11.1 Events may be photographed and/or recorded for marketing, publicity and archival purposes. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in crowd shots or general footage. By attending, you grant the Organiser a royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use your image, likeness and voice in photographs, video and audio recordings taken at the Event for marketing and publicity purposes, unless you have opted out on arrival under Clause 11.2.

11.2 If you do not wish to be featured in close up photographs or recordings, please speak to a member of staff on arrival so reasonable steps can be taken (e.g. a discrete wristband/lanyard or seating in low capture areas). While reasonable efforts will be made, it may not be possible to completely avoid incidental capture. Commercial use of Event content, recordings or materials without the Organiser’s written consent is prohibited.

11.3 You must not photograph or film where expressly prohibited (for example, during parts of a mediumship demonstration, in children’s areas, or where the venue bans recording). Do not photograph minors without the permission of their parent/guardian.

11.4 All official photos/video taken by or on behalf of the Organiser remain the Organiser’s intellectual property. Unauthorised commercial use of Event content, branding or materials is prohibited. Commercial use of Event content, recordings or materials without the Organiser’s written consent is prohibited.

12. Parking & Access

12.1 Some venues operate parking validation/registration systems. It is your responsibility to follow the venue’s instructions (e.g. registering your vehicle details on arrival) to avoid fines. The Organiser is not liable for parking penalties.

13. Marketplace & Third Party Stalls

13.1 Some Events include independent stalls (e.g. jewellery, crystals, wellbeing products). Purchases from these traders are contracts between you and the trader. The Organiser is not responsible for the quality of third party goods or services.

14. Force Majeure

14.1 The Organiser is not liable for delay or failure to perform obligations where caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g. severe weather, power outage, strike, venue closure, illness, government action). In such cases, the Organiser will use reasonable efforts to reschedule. Any refund or credit offered will be at the Organiser’s sole discretion, and the Organiser accepts no liability for indirect or consequential costs (including travel, accommodation or subsistence).

15. Personal Property

15.1 You are responsible for your belongings at all times. The Organiser and venue will not be liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property, except where caused by negligence that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Organiser may arrange for unattended items to be removed for safety reasons. Items left in cloakrooms or storage areas are at your own risk. The Organiser is not liable for loss or damage except where caused by negligence that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Liability

16.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

16.2 Subject to Clause 16.1, the Organiser shall not be liable for:

(a) any loss, damage, cost or expense that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time of booking;

(b) any loss of business, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill (whether direct or indirect);

(c) any indirect, consequential or incidental loss or damage, however arising.

16.3 Participation in certain Event activities (including but not limited to fire walking, glass walking, arrow breaking, movement workshops, or wellness practices) involves an inherent element of risk. By attending the Event and/or choosing to participate, you acknowledge and accept that risk, and you agree that participation is voluntary and at your own discretion. The Organiser accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage sustained as a result of such participation, except where caused by the Organiser’s negligence or wilful misconduct except as required by law

16.4 The Organiser shall not be responsible for:

(a) personal property brought to the Event (including theft, loss or damage), except where loss arises from the Organiser’s negligence;

(b) third-party goods or services provided at the Event (including marketplace stalls, catering by third parties, or venue services), which are a direct contract between you and that third party;

(c) any failure or delay in performance caused by a Force Majeure Event (as defined in Clause 14).

16.5 The Organiser’s total aggregate liability to any attendee (whether in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise) shall be limited to the price paid for that attendee’s ticket for the Event at which the liability arises. This cap applies per attendee, per Event, and in aggregate for all claims arising from the Event.

17. Data Protection

17.1 The Organiser will process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. A privacy notice explaining how your data is used is available on request. For media captured at Events, see Clause 11. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the Organiser using your contact details for essential Event communications and, where you have not opted out, for marketing of similar events.

18. Complaints & Assistance

18.1 If you experience any issue before or during the Event, please speak to staff on the day or contact the Organiser using the details on the Event listing so we can assist promptly.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

19.1 These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

20. Acceptance

20.1 By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending the Event, you accept these Terms. No signature is required for them to take effect.
