The Brattleboro Interfaith Youth Group will host its first fundraiser, a Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, December 13 with sittings from 5 to 7 pm at the Guilford Community Church on a first come, first serve basis.
This event will raise money for the youth group’s service and learning trip next April. Then, young people and adult leaders from the Greater Brattleboro area representing Christian, Muslim and Jewish faith communities will spend a week assisting local nonprofits in a location to be determined.
The menu at the Spaghetti Supper consists of both beef and vegetarian plates of spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage. If you would like a gluten free option, please alert us ahead. The suggested donation is $15 for adults, less for children 12 and under.
The Interfaith Youth Group builds a multicultural community through friendships, fun and service. It is composed of young people, several of whom who are recently resettled refugees, who are interested in sharing their cultures, providing peer support and learning about each other while doing community service each month.
No reservations are required for the supper. The address of Guilford Community Church is 38 Church Dr., Guilford, VT. For more information email:
