Join us for a free, casual walk around the Retreat Farm's North Meadows, where we will explore the seasonal relationships that may be present there as we join. By learning of ways to be present-in-place with all of our relations, and participate with them in the continuity of Creation, we may better find our own places within what we think of as familiar landscape.
Meeting Point: Patio on the south/ left side of the Retreat Farm Market, 400 Linden Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301.
What to Expect: Please allow 2 hours for this easy outing: 10 minutes out and 10 minutes back, and a little more than an hour and a half to walk around, converse, and answer questions.
Participants should wear good walking shoes and be able to walk on moderate terrain. Use insect and sun protection as you feel is appropriate.
This event is free but we are asking people to please register in advance so that we have an idea of the estimated attendance.
This land-based experience is guided by Rich Holschuh, Co-Director of the Atowi Project, a shared community initiative to affirm relationships with the Land and All of Our Relations, raise Native voices, and foster inclusion with understanding, in place.
