About “Short-form improv” Class
This class focuses on short-form improv — a fun, popular style full of fast games and mini-scenes made up on the spot.
If you want to laugh, loosen up, build confidence, and get quicker on your feet, this class is for you. It’s beginner-friendly, and also fun and challenging for people with improv experience.
Why join?
Because short-form improv is one of the best ways to:
- feel more confident speaking and performing in front of others
- get out of your head and into the moment
- think faster and react with more ease
- build stronger storytelling and character skills
- face fears and uncertainty in a safe, supportive way
- meet friendly, interesting people and have a genuinely good Monday night
What happens in class?
Each session is its own little adventure, but the structure usually looks like this:
- Warm-ups to loosen up your body, bring your focus to the here and now, and wake up your voice and imagination
- Short-form games + skill-building exercises
- A lot of learning while you play — with coaching that keeps things clear, simple, and fun
- Expect laughter, embracing mistakes, and plenty of “oh wow, I didn’t know I could do that” moments
- You don’t need to be “funny,” “extroverted,” or “an actor.” You just need to show up and try — we’ll take it from there.

Yes — in simple, easy-to-understand English.
2) I’m a complete beginner with zero improv/acting experience. Can I join?

Yes! You can drop in for one class (or as many as you like) without committing to a full term.
5) Can I come just to observe?
We keep a no-observer policy to protect a safe, supportive environment for everyone participating.
