Losangeleská kapela v zložení Alex Ewell, Emma Maatman, Nathan O’Dell a Joe Trainor je tvorivo nepokojná partia. Keďže mali pocit, že motorik pop dotiahli do najlepšej možnej podoby, chceli sa posunúť ďalej – k tvrdšiemu, tanečnejšiemu a trochu psychedelickému zvuku. Počas tvorby albumu Free Energy začali Ewell a Trainor experimentovať s domácim nahrávaním, pričom DAW používali skôr ako nástroj na komponovanie než len ako technický prostriedok. O’Dell sa hlbšie ponoril do inštrumentálnej a sample kompozície, pričom prispel aj výraznejšími gitarovými partmi, zatiaľ čo Maatman vystúpila do popredia s výraznými a sebavedomými vokálmi. Výsledkom je album, ktorý oslavuje schopnosť hudby rozhýbať telo – či už cez ohlušujúcu stenu hluku pripomínajúceho My Bloody Valentine, chytľavý popový refrén, radostný zvuk automatického bubeníka, alebo ak ste Dummy, možno všetko naraz v jednej skladbe.

Eversame je mladá 4-členná kapela, ktorá je na scéne od septembra 2022, no založená bola už v roku 2018. Pohybujú sa v rôznych žánroch, ako napríklad indie, midwest emo či shoegaze. Za rok stihli vydať svoj debutový album tell me where flowers are, odohrať mnoho klubových koncertov, ale aj festivaly ako Pohoda a Rock For People. Ich hudba, ako aj koncerty sú charakteristické najmä surovou energiou, melancholickým a nízko položeným spevom, inovatívnou basou zasnenou gitarou s rôznymi efektami, a to všetko dopĺňajú dynamické a intenzívne bicie. Naživo tak zloženie týchto prvkov vytvára intímne spojenie medzi kapelou a publikom.

Dummy — the Los Angeles band of Alex Ewell, Emma Maatman, Nathan O’Dell, and Joe Trainor — is a creatively restless band. Feeling like they had done the best version of motorik pop that they could do, they wanted to get harder, dancier, a little more psychedelic. While creating Free Energy, Ewell and Trainor began experimenting with home recording, using DAW as kind of an instrument for composition rather than simply a tool. O’Dell dug deeper into instrumental/sample composition, in addition to contributing more guitar leads, while Maatman stepped into the spotlight with noticeably foregrounded and confident vocals. The
result is a record that celebrates music’s ability to move the body, whether that be through a teeth-rattling wall of MBV-esque noise, a sticky pop chorus, or a joyous drum machine—or, if you’re Dummy, maybe all of them in the same song.

Eversame is a young four-member band that has been active on the scene since September 2022, though it was originally founded in 2018. They explore various genres, including indie, midwest emo, and shoegaze. Within a year, they managed to release their debut album tell me where flowers are, play numerous club shows, and perform at festivals like Pohoda and Rock For People. Their music and live performances are defined by raw energy, melancholic and deep vocals, an innovative bass, a dreamy guitar enriched with various effects, all complemented by dynamic and intense drumming. Live, this combination of elements creates an intimate connection between the band and the audience.
