Bratislava Hot Serenaders vzdávajú hold Dukeovi Ellingtonovi
Duke Ellington, legendárny skladateľ a kapelník, patrí k najvýznamnejším postavám jazzu. Jeho hudba spájala eleganciu, originalitu a rytmickú energiu, ktorá dodnes inšpiruje hudobníkov po celom svete.
Orchester Bratislava Hot Serenaders pod vedením Juraja Bartoša oživuje jeho ranú tvorbu albumom Take It Easy (2008), venovaným skladbám z 20. rokov. Tento prevažne hot jazzový album je takmer výlučne inštrumentálny, s výnimkou skladby I Can't Give You Anything But Love so spevom Miloša Stančíka.
Na festivale Symfónia umenia zaznejú skladby ako Cotton Club Stomp, Old Man Blues, The Creeper či Jungle Nights in Harlem, výrazný príklad tzv. Jungle Style, ktorý definoval atmosféru newyorského Cotton Clubu.
Bratislava Hot Serenaders tak prinesú autentický zvuk a ducha zlatej éry jazzu.

Vzhľadom na spoločenskú udalosť si organizátor v prípade nevhodného oblečenia vyhradzuje právo odmietnuť vám vstup na podujatie. Po začatí koncertu vám už nebude umožnený vstup. V prípade nepriaznivého počasia zostanú v platnosti len vstupenky zo sektora 1 a koncert sa uskutoční v rovnakom termíne v budove DK Ružinov, Ružinovská 28, Bratislava. Ostatné vstupenky sa vrátia v plnej hodnote.
V prípade nepriaznivého počasia po začatí koncertu sa cena vstupného nevracia.

Bratislava Hot Serenaders pays tribute to Duke Ellington
Duke Ellington, the legendary composer and bandleader, is one of the most important figures in jazz. His music merges elegance, originality and rhythmic energy that still inspires musicians around the world.
The Bratislava Hot Serenaders orchestra, led by Juraj Bartoš, revives his early work with the album Take It Easy (2008), dedicated to songs dated in 1920s. This predominantly hot jazz album is almost exclusively instrumental, with one exception - the song I Can´t Give You Anything But Love with vocals by Miloš Stančík.
The Symphony of Art festival will feature the songs such as Cotton Club Stomp, Old Man Blues, The Creeper as well as Jungle Nights in Harlem, a prominent example of the so-called Jungle Style, which defined the atmosphere of New York´s Cotton Club.
The Bratislava Hot Serenaders will thus bring the authentic sound and spirit of the jazz golden era. Album presenting new works and new titles in the unique authentic sound of the orchestra.

Taking into regard the character of the event, the organizer reserves the right to refuse the entry in case of inappropriate clothing. No entrance is allowed as of the concert starts. In case of bad weather, only tickets from sector 1 will remain valid and the concert will take place on the same date in the DK Ružinov building, Ružinovská 28, Bratislava. Other tickets will be returned in full.
In case of unsuitable weather as of the concert starts the entrance fee will not be refunded.
