🇬🇧 Elektronický producent Samuel Kerridge – istý čas aj kurátor berlínskeho festivalu Atonal – a Maxim „Panda“ Barron, ex-gitarista brightonských indie rockerov TOY sa vo svojom novom elektrizujúcom projekte Death Disco podujali na spoločné sprisahanie proti živým. Duo čerpajúce z rebelských koreňov (post)punku, EBM, industriálu aj pomalého metalu okoreneného étosom DIY (do-it-yourself), vytvorilo na svojom debutovom tohtoročnom albume „Death Notes“ pocit naliehavosti a autenticity. Naživo to znie strhujúco: Samuelova energický vokálny prejav a elektronika dodávajú „ostnatej“ hudbe emocionálnu hĺbku, zatiaľ čo Maximove pulzujúce rytmy prerezávajú temnú a až rituálnu atmosféru s drásajúcou silou.
