As part of our 100th Anniversary celebration, we are proud to unveil the newly restored historic log cabin, now transformed into the Log Cabin Museum. Join us for this special ribbon cutting ceremony—an unforgettable milestone you won’t want to miss!

🏡 About the Log Cabin Museum
Originally built in the 1850s and 1890s and relocated to campus in 1926, this beloved landmark reflects the Folk School’s deep commitment to preserving Appalachian culture. Inside, you’ll find exhibits on traditional mountain life and crafts, part of a self-guided walking tour with interactive QR-code signage.

✨ Restoration of the Log Cabin Museum was made possible by the Cherokee County TDA and the Fred A. Moss Charity Trust Fund via the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.
