HikeLife Adventures takes you to the remote village of Brasso Seco located in Northern Trinidad.
After leaving the meeting location, we drive along the Arima-Blanchisseuse road to Brasso Seco (drive can take just over 1hr). Along the way there are many scenic views of the quarry, christophene cultivation and Las Lapas look-out.
Double River Waterfall is accessible by driving & hiking down Madamas road. This is a farming access road so it becomes muddy and inaccessible to regular vehicles.
The landmark for the waterfall is where a river crosses the road. You would notice 2 separate rivers converging hence the name Double River Waterfall.
The waterfall is approx a 60ft single drop waterfall with a small, rocky basin. The source of the water originates high along the slopes of the mountain range famous for El Cerro Del Aripo (highest peak 940m/3085ft).
