Community Invited to “Blue Christmas: A Service of Comfort and Hope”
BRANSON, MO — First Presbyterian Church invites the community to a gentle and reflective Advent gathering, “Blue Christmas: A Service of Comfort and Hope,” on Thursday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. The service will be held in the church’s historic Old Stone Church, located at the corner of 4th and W. Pacific Streets in Branson.
The holiday season can be beautiful—and hard—at the same time. For many, feelings of stress, anxiety, or grief become more intense during this time of year. This special service is designed to provide a peaceful space of compassion and reassurance for anyone who finds the season difficult.
The service will be led by Pastor Tom Willcox, who will guide attendees through scripture, prayer, music, and quiet moments of reflection. Together, these elements offer comfort and remind us that God is present both in our sorrow and in our hope.
Whether you are grieving a loss, navigating a challenging season, or simply seeking a calm and sacred space, you are warmly welcomed.
All are invited.
