L.I.S. Kayak Float, Thimble Isles, Branford.

RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE, Free Parking: Sorry, No SUP unless you can stroke a 5-6 mile open-water route. One-person, two-person, sit-in/on kayaks are all good, we'll pace slow enough to keep group together. Launch from the public boat ramp at Thimble Island Rd. & Take the typical clockwise route to get leers of the beautiful Branford shore homes before working the eastern perimeter to McKinley NWP, for disembark & lunch. Then; back through the rest of the isles. 3.5 to 5 hours depending on condition(s). If you do not have a self-rescue float & pump I've got one in the event. Required: PFD, lantern, whistle, sun block & BUG SPRAY, plus a lot of beverages/snacks and a big lunch. I've got extra room for food/ice packs in my dry bag.
