Sisters in Spirit with the Brandon Friendship Centre

The Sisters in Spirit Petal Ceremony will take place at Dinsdale Park on 1st Street North with the Brandon Friendship Centre on October 4th, starting at 9AM.

Everyone is welcome. Women, girls, and gender diverse individuals are requested to wear a ribbon skirt, a skirt, or dress if participating in the ceremony.

This annual observance on October 4th is a day to honour and remember the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in Canada. This day serves to raise awareness for those that are still missing and the violence continued to be experienced by many.

After the ceremony, everyone is welcome to a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at the Riverbank.
