🍺🎃 Brandonplatz 2025 – A Family-Friendly Oktoberfest in Downtown Brandon
Saturday, October 4th | 2–6 PM | Downtown Brandon
Guten Tag, friends! The lively spirit of Oktoberfest is returning to Downtown Brandon with a Mississippi twist! Brandonplatz is back for an afternoon packed with craft beer tastings, live entertainment, festive games, and family fun.
Adults can enjoy sampling German-inspired and seasonal beers from local breweries, distributed by Capital City Beverage and Southern Beverage Company, alongside traditional Oktoberfest games, friendly German contests, and a limited German-inspired appetizer menu at Burgers, Blues, Barbecue, Mudbugs042, The Cleaners, and The Gallows.
This year’s activities include:
- Second Annual Wood Carving of a Quarry Trails animal
- Axe throwing
- Hops Q&A
- Oktoberfest trivia and bingo inside Mudbugs042
- The legendary Stein Hoisting Contest & Hammerschlaggen Contest!
The Kid’s Zone will be bustling with interactive activities hosted by local businesses, plus the Rankin County Chamber Pumpkin Decorating Contest—with pumpkins displayed around downtown and winners announced at 042 Nights: Boo!042 on October 23rd. Brown Bottling Company will also be serving up delicious root beer floats for the kids (and kids at heart).
