Young Agrarians is looking for farmers and ranchers in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba who are ready to invest in the next generation of land stewards!
Attend this information session to learn more about becoming a Host Farm in the Young Agrarians Apprenticeship Program. By joining the program, Host Farms not only receive extra help on the farm, but also have the opportunity to support a potential farmer in acquiring the skills they need to contribute to the growing movement of regenerative agriculture.
Join our Apprenticeship Program Manager, Kalynn Spain and the team, to learn about hosting an apprentice on your farm for the 2026 season. We welcome anyone who has hosted apprentices in the past or is considering it for the coming year.
When: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 | 9am PT, 10am MT, 11am CT
Location: Online – Zoom link will be emailed to registrants.

What a past host farm had to say about the Apprenticeship Program:
“The Young Agrarians Apprenticeship Program helped provide structure and support for the hiring process, took some of the workload off vetting applicants, and made us feel a part of a larger mentor (and apprentice) group that we could connect with. I liked the Zoom sessions leading up to the start of the program, and the opportunity given to apprentices to lead a tour on the farm.”
